Saudi Ship Attacked, Burning, Bab al-Mandeb Strait

A Saudi commercial ship was reportedly hit by a missile in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, with three crew members killed, including two Pakistanis and one Indonesian.

Elsewhere, the Strait of Hormuz remains defacto-CLOSED.  Oil is still not freely flowing from the countries in the Persian Gulf because Iran has shut down the strait.

Now, Iran's proxy, the Houthis, in Yemen, seem to be effectively closing the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, which will shut down oil flow from the Red Sea and through the Suez Canal.

Meanwhile, around the world, countries are rapidly depleting their crude oil reserves to try to survive the loss of Middle East oil supplies.

Here in the United States, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is rapidly being drained and, by ONE calculation, now has only about twenty-one (21) days of oil remaining available from it.
