Citizens of Bahrain appear to be REVOLTING against the Al Khalifa Ruling family. Troops from Saudi Arabia are being deployed to put down the uprising.
The Al Khalifa (House of Khalifa) is the Sunni Muslim royal family that has ruled the Kingdom of Bahrain since 1783, originating from the Anizah tribe. King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ruled since 1999 (as Emir until 2002), with Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa serving as Prime Minister.

Background: The family migrated from Najd in central Arabia to Kuwait, later establishing control over Al Zubarah before settling in Bahrain.
Ruling Structure: The family holds significant power, with roughly half of Bahrain’s cabinet ministers coming from the Al Khalifa family.

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa: The current monarch who took power in 1999.

The US Fifth Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain has come under repeated attack by Iranian missiles, many of which GOT THROUGH defenses as pictured at the TOP of this article.
The US Embassy in Bahrain also came under attack by Iranian missiles, THEN came under attack by Bahrain protesters, furious that the US and Israel Bombed Iran's 86 year old Ayatollah Khamenei in his own home, killing him.
The U.S. has ordered non-essential personnel and their families to leave Bahrain! The death toll is still being verified.
