"War to Continue until Ukraine Accepts Russian Terms"

At about 6:00 AM eastern US Time Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the Kremlin in Moscow confirmed bluntly "The war (in Ukraine) will continue until Ukraine accepts Russian Terms."


Russia makes clear, once again, what they have said at all the past negotiations:

  • There will be no ceasefire. 

  • There will be no foreign troops in Ukraine after the war ends.

  • There will be no "coalition of the willing" inside Ukraine.

  • There will be no foreign "defensive missiles inside Ukraine."


Russia says Ukraine must agree to all Russian terms or the war will not stop.  Period. End of discussion.
