US Ambassador to Israel, Iran "No Longer just Middle East Threat"

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee publicly said today "Already today, Iran's agents operate in 12 countries in the Western Hemisphere. This is no longer just a Middle Eastern issue. Iran is a global threat."
 VICE-PRESIDENT JD Vance says Iran BETTER make a deal tomorrow during negotiations or FAFO could play out "I hope the Iranians take it seriously tomorrow! [...] We want diplomacy...if we have to use the MILITARY, the president has that right!"
Vance went on to say "A reasonable settlement: Iran CAN'T HAVE a nuclear weapon. The Supreme Leader should understand it."
United States Senate Majority Leader John Thune said publicly today "The President is preparing us to defend America’s vital national security interests. We cannot tolerate a nuclear Iran."
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi repeated publicly today "We will not give up our nuclear activities for peaceful purposes. If the US decides to attack us - its bases in the region will be legitimate targets for us, even if they are on Arab countries."
Tomorrow, Thursday, February 26, 2026 is the deadline set by President Trump for Iran to submit its final proposal to deal with US (and Israeli) demands concerning Iran's nuclear program, its Ballistic Missile program, its use of Proxies like HAMAS in the Gaza Strip, HEZBOLLAH in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen and its continued sale of oil to China.
Iran has already firmly refused to discuss its Ballistic Missiles, its relationship with Proxies, and its sale of oil to China. They HAVE shown willingness to make changes to their nuclear program, but it seems to most observers that this, alone, will be insufficient to prevent US military action.
If these facts and assessments are correct, today is the final day for people to prepare. Emergency food, water, medicines you need to live on. A way to cook without electricity or utilities. A way to handle bathroom needs without refilling toilets.
Communications gear (CB and HAM Radio) if the grids all go down. A way to generate emergency electricity and spare fuel for that generator. A way to keep warm without a functioning Grid. Flashlights for each family member or for each room in your house. Spare batteries for those flashlights.
Iran's missile capabilities can reach all over the Middle East, into parts of Europe and, Iran made clear, their ICBM can reach New York City and Washington, DC.
It is not presently known if Iran is in possession of functioning nuclear warheads or if Iran can equip their missiles with a functioning nuclear warhead.
It is widely believed that if Iran fails to make a firm proposal by tomorrow, or if any proposal they make is rejected, hostilities will likely commence immediately.
On its face, it seems better to be prepared and not need it, than to wait until it's too late to get what you need.  Today seems to many people to be the absolute final day to prepare.
