US strikes have begun on Iran for the third consecutive day, with explosions reported in Chabahar in southeastern Iran, and Bushehr and Ahvaz in southwestern Iran.

Ahvaz is the capital of Iran's oil-producing Khuzestan Province.

Hal Turner Blunt Analysis

I want my country, the United States, to be "the Good Guys."  But that is NOT what's been taking place in the Middle East.   It is worth explaining how and why this latest round of hostilities is taking place:

  • Under the MOU, Iran was to control the Strait of Hormuz shipping corridor for 60 days.

  • Trump instead quietly backed a second route along Oman's coast, bypassing Iran's control.

  • Tehran fired warning shots at a vessel using the new corridor.

  • The US used that as justification to resume bombing Iran.

There's no way to spin this as Iran being the side that broke the ceasefire.  The U.S. signed the MoU then deliberately took steps to undermine it.  This is demonstrable bad faith on the part of my country, the United States.   Period. Full stop.

UPDATE 4:49 PM EDT --

The United States DENIES attacking Iran again today ! ! ! !    Middle Eastern sources are now openly saying "it was someone else."

UAE? Kuwait? Bahrain?  . . . . or . . . . Israel?
