President Donald Trump has concluded what he calls a "very positive" telephone call with China President Xi Jinping. Here is what President Trump posted himself about the 1.5 hour phone call:
I found it interesting, and positive that President Trump reported "Nothing was discussed concerning Russia/Ukraine, or Iran."
It is vital to relations between countries, that superfluous topics not intrude upon the business at hand. Business / trade / commerce MUST come first.
Clouding Business/trade/commerce with ancillary issues creates havoc. I, for one, am glad the two Presidents stuck to the business at hand, and did not go off on any tangents.
