Today, Sunday June 14, 2026, A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran was supposed to be signed, bringing to an end the conflict in the Middle East. Instead, Israel decided to bomb Beirut, Lebanon - again - which caused the Peace Deal signing to be delayed (at best) and ruined (at worst)
The attack upon Beirut, shown in the mage above, did not go over well with the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. President Trump posted as much on social media:
The MoU was to have established, in writing, there would be a total ceasefire "on all fronts" including Lebanon.
So much for peace. As this nonsense continues, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. Our oil reserves are running low and will run out within a month.
