Reports are coming in saying Industrial and Medical gasses supplier, Messer, in Kittary, ME, has declared a Force Majeure at their Liquid Nitrogen Facility in Maine.

Customers have been told this will cause significant impact on bulk nitrogen deliveries across the North-Eastern United States.

Because this gas is widely used in Medical Equipment in hospitals, they will be given priority during this force majeure event.   Industrial and other users of such gas are being told they will be immediately limited to 25% of their regular supply.

In many Industrial applications, that type of limit will only supply enough gas for 48 hours of operations.

Customers were reportedly advised around 9:00 PM Saturday night of this situation, and are now scrambling to shut down all but essential use of such gas.

The Hal Turner Radio Show reached out to the company via their website for further information.  No reply has been received as of the publication of this story.   If the company replies, pertinent information will be added to this story as an UPDATE below.
