Something unusual is happening across the internet this morning.
Downdetector is showing sudden, nearly simultaneous report spikes involving major cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, workplace systems, financial platforms, communications services, and payment processors.
Reported services include:
AWS • Cloudflare • Microsoft 365 • Microsoft Teams • Zoom • Spectrum • Verizon • AT&T • Xfinity • Cox • Reddit • X/Twitter • Canva • Robinhood • Square • Toast • Zendesk • Freshdesk • Freshservice • HubSpot • Monday.com • TeamViewer • Discord • Procore • Availity
This is not just one website or one internet provider. Reports appear to be rising across multiple unrelated industries at roughly the same time.
At this moment, we do not know whether this is:
A major cloud-infrastructure failure
A DNS or routing problem
A coordinated cyber incident
A telecommunications failure
Or several unrelated outages occurring simultaneously
There is currently no confirmed explanation for the apparent pattern.
