The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and several underlings, have been FIRED today for directly violating President Trump's Executive Order to temporarily cease all distribution of funding.
As reported on this website yesterday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency paid $59 Million to luxury hotels in New York City to pay for housing of Illegal Aliens. (Story Here)
FEMA's Chief Financial Officer Mary Comans, picbove, lost her job for making those payments. Three others involved in dishing out the payments also lost their jobs, a Department of Homeland Security official disclosed.
'Effective immediately, FEMA is terminating the employment of four individuals for circumventing leadership to unilaterally make egregious payments for luxury NYC hotels for migrants,' Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.
'Firings include FEMA's Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts and a grant specialist,' she noted.
Comans and her team are arguably the most powerful group at FEMA as they control its billions of dollars in funding.
Their pronouns are now apparently changed to was/were.
