The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announces Closure of the Strait of Hormuz in response to Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.
"The conditions of the ceasefire in Lebanon and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the area have not been met by the United States. Ships approaching the Strait will be targeted"

The IRGC is currently broadcasting on marine channel 16.
Audio text: "Since Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon, the complete lifting of the maritime siege, and the withdrawal of American terrorist forces from the Persian Gulf and the region are among the main conditions of the agreement between Iran and the United States, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until these two conditions are met.
All ships have been ordered not to approach the Strait of Hormuz for their own safety and security.
Any vessel that disobeys this order will be targeted."
