UPDATED 3:42 PM EDT -- Senior Israeli Intel Source Just Told me . . .

A Senior Israeli Intelligence Source, who is absolutely in a position to know, just told me "Israel is moving closer to military campaign in Lebanon including a ground invasion."

He went on to say "War with Hezbollah will erupt quickly if there's no ceasefire deal!"

I am just passing this along to each of you because this came out of nowhere, and seems to indicate a very aggressive change of attitude inside the Israeli government.

UPDATE 3:42 PM EDT --

Tonight (local time) in Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued instructions to the Israeli army and all security forces:

"Prepare to change the situation in the north.    We are obligated to return all residents of the north to their homes safely"
