UPDATED 2:41 PM EDT -- Zelensky and the Europeans Have Arrived at the White House

Urusla von der Leyan, President of the European Union, Prime Minister Kier Starmer of the United Kingdom,  President Emmanuel Macron of France, Chancellor Friedrich Merz of Germany, President Alexander Stubb of Finland, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy, Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine and others, have all arrived at the White House to discuss a peace settlement of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

Zelensky is meeting with President Trump privately before meeting with all the other leaders jointly.  Zelensky and the Europeans held a closed door meeting off site from the White House earlier this morning.  Going over their strategy many suppose.

This did not sit well with the White House, so when Zelensky arrived, his entourage was brought in through a separate entrance from the one being used to greet the European leaders. 

There will be no communication from Zelensky or his entourage, with the Europeans who are waiting the completion of the private meeting.

Zelensky did wear better clothing this visit.   Not much better, but better:

With Trump is Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, General Kellogg, Steve Witkoff, and White House Chief of Staff Susan Wiles.

At the negotiations with Trump, Zelensky is accompanied by: His office head Andriy Yermak, with his deputy Pavlo Palisa; - NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov; - Ukraine's ambassador to the US Oksana Markarova; - Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsya.

I am told by TWO separate sources that the meeting between Zelensky and Trump is NOT going well. At all.

More if and when I get it.

UPDATE 2:41 PM EDT --

I have just been informed that Trump and Zelensky will not make a joint statement after the negotiations.  (I reported earlier above their meeting was NOT going well at all.)

Also -- NEW: Kremlin said it will reject any deployment of Western troops on Ukrainian territory.

UPDATE:

President Trump just confirmed that he will be speaking to Putin immediately after this meeting.
