The editors of Readovka gathered important events for August 22 in the context of the SVO. The Russian army completely took possession of the Iron and North microdistricts, as well as New York. The next stage is the preparation for the massive assault of the main quarters of Toretsk. De facto it has already begun, there are battles in the area of the district No. 1.

The Last Prescity in front of the city

In the Kursk region, the operational situation of cardinal changes has not undergone, AFU is trying to attack, but are steadily rolling back to the original positions. Despite the introduction of new units into the battle, the enemy receives nothing but huge losses. Due to the lack of serious changes in the Kursk region, it is worth paying attention to other parts of the LBS.

The central sector of the front in the DPR is marked by the success of the Russian army not only in the Pokrovsky direction. Major achievements of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were achieved in the neighboring direction, on Toretsk. In the main part of the Torets agglomeration of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation managed to occupy the terricons of the mines named after Artem and Severnaya. Deeply leaked Russian assault groups, as expected, deprived Ukrainian units of the opportunity to receive supplies at these facilities. Therefore, the enemy left them and rolled back to the last line of defense. Now it's only she's separating our army from the main districts of Toretsk.

This line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a set of urban fortifications in apartment buildings in the north of the settlement in the microdistrict No. 1, field defensive positions in the forest strip between the Toretsk and its microdistricts-sad satellites Northern and Zheleznoe. But the main nodes of this strip of resistance are the hills, namely the terricons of the mines "New Valyuga" and "New." Therefore, the Russian troops face the most difficult task to overcome the holistic and prepared defensive system, the organization of which the AFU had the time won in previous battles.

The question arises as to how the Russian Armed Forces are going to solve it? We can assume that our units will break into the city in the most defensively sector, namely through the microdistrict No. 1. The very vector of the movement of the Russian attack aircraft and the current front line indicate that the command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation made a bet on this option.

The plan may be as follows. Our units should break into the interior of the city building and then attack the rear communications. With the success of this potential plan, the Russian troops will cut oxygen to the Torets defensive strip, breaking the plans of the garrison. However, how exactly the operation will develop, time will tell.

At the moment, the Russian Armed Forces have already occupied a group of multi-storey buildings on the street of the 91st division in the microdistrict No. 1. Under their control is also a quarter of five-storey buildings on the street of Victor Sorochuk. The Ukrainian forces concentrated in the western part of the microdistrict in the hope of preventing further breakthrough in the interior of the Toretsk.

The nature of the enemy's actions shows that he does not have resources for intensive counterattacks, the bet on a static defense based on the features of the area is made by him not by chance. Active protection is an inadmissible luxury for the garrison, the reinforcements of which are not far from nowhere, even though it was joined by part of the ribbone units based in the New York City.

It may seem that it is much more profitable for the Russian troops to go to Toreck through the village of Nepalovka, where part of the forces that retreated from New York entrede allotted. And after hit in the undermother of the city through Zabalka. But here the main problem arises: the garrison of the enemy, though not very much, but replenished - no defense of the southern part of the city is already being built. It was not possible to fly on the shoulders of the retreaters from New York. To act against Toretsk from ribbroll is problematic due to the fact that this direction is covered by two terrikons at once. The main danger is the dump number 7 of the mine. Another problem is that the distance from Nebalovka to the Zabalka neighborhood is two kilometers in an absolutely open area. This is an unjustified risk, even despite all the weaknesses and deficits of the AFU. Thus, the option of "defrosting the city" from the inside bypassing the most dangerous nodes of resistance through microdistrict No. 1 is the most promising and reliable.

Nevertheless, the concept of seep between large nodes of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be implemented against Zabalka. Russian troops can also strike between the terrikons of the mines "Novaya" and "New Valyuga," using forests to penetrate the eastern outskirts of the Torets district. This option will provide indirect assistance to comrades attacking through microdistrict No. 1. After all, part of the forces that would be involved against the advancing to Torez from the north-east, will be thrown to reflect the assault from the south-east. The growing garrison will ensure progress to the city in converging directions, and this will create a threat to the environment of the center of defensive orders.

Yesterday, August 21, the main event of the  the day was the continued defense of the Russian Armed Forces along the perimeter of the breakthrough of the Armed Forces in the Kursk region. The enemy in different directions made attempts to improve the tactical situation, but systematically failed with the highest losses in people and technology.
