Russia: Drones That Hit St. Petersburg Routed Thru NATO Air Space Using Starlink/StarShield
October 18, 2026

Last night, the Oil Depot at St. Petersburg, Russia was attacked by military drones that entered Russia from Estonia, Latvia, and Finland - NATO airspace - and blew up the port where Russian Diesel Fuel would have shipped to the United States.
The map below shows the alleged flight path:

Russians all over Social Media are already saying "these drones utilized StarShield/StarLink to be guided to target inside Russia." and some Russians are even saying "NATO has entered the war, the consequences will be catastrophic for everyone."
Social media is also actively pointing this out with postings saying "Attacks on St. Petersburg came from Estonian and Latvian airspace, bypassing AD systems. The Baltic states were active participants to this attack."
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD), 1015 drones of various types were shot down over multiple regions. All FP-5 "flamingo" missiles launched were also shot down.
The oil terminal was damaged but not critical. The VK data center was also targeted, but there were no internal damages, rather a building facade damage. The image below shows St. Petersburg this morning:

An attack on OZON e-commerce warehouse took the most damage.
Commercial Air Flights were halted as safety protocol and have since resumed.
