REPORT: UAE-Owned Oil Tanker Ship EXPLODES After Hitting Iran Naval Mine

Iran's IRGC announces the UAE-owned oil tanker EL GAIA (IMO 9325336) exploded after hitting Iranian naval mines.
The vessel was allegedly attempting to pass through the US-backed southern Omani corridor of the Strait of Hormuz.
Efforts to contain the fire have failed and the entire tanker now engulfed in flames.
The IRGC says warnings had been issued to the tanker, but it proceeded anyway.
