New: Iran Strikes Tanker Ship Off Coast of Qatar

October 7, 2026

Iran has just struck an oil tanker off Qatar's north coast, with casualties reported.

The strike location is highly unusual: the first in this area in more than 6 months.

This makes it the 15th vessel struck in the past week.

The position sits on the approaches to Ras Laffan, the world's largest LNG export terminal.

Those who have been claiming "the Strait of Hormuz is Open" and "oil is flowing" are apparently out of touch with reality.
