Latvia and Estonia Reportedly "Leased" Their Air Space to Ukraine for Russia Attacks!

The Latvian Defense Minister has just resigned over his incompetence to down Ukrainian drones over Latvia.
Well, that's what they said, but that's different from reality.
New reports show both Latvian and Estonian airspace bordering Russia-Belarus were leased by Ukraine.
In Latvia, a temporary flight restriction zone EVR444 EVENTIDE has been published. The airspace is closed between 21:00 to 08:00 (MSK) from Feb. 2026 to Dec. 2026 on the initiative of the Latvian Ministry of Defense (MoD).
In Estonia, a similar notice with the establishment of the EER2615 zone. According to the document, the closure of the airspace is in effect 24/7 from March 2026 to Dec. 2026 at an altitudes from 150m above ground level.
Both states, including Lithuania are well aware of such EU/NATO operations using their airspace to attack the Russian Federation.
The attacks on Leningrad Oblast (St. Petersburg) through the Baltics were called Russian propaganda until the drones began hitting facilities in the Baltic states. Most speculating the Russian MoD was well aware of such operations using the EW systems in Kaliningrad to disrupt the Ukrainian operation.
Now the Latvian Minister is resigning. It's unclear if he had a disagreement where he argued such actions with Ukraine will drag Latvia into direct confrontation with Russia.
Interestingly enough, the newly appointed defense minister of Latvia, Colonel Raivis Melnis served as the official representative of the Latvian Ministry of Defense in Ukraine.
What is yet unknown is how Russia will deal with this? By Leasing their air space to Ukraine, for the purpose of Ukraine attacking Russia, does that make Latvia and Estonia "party to the conflict? Many people say "yes."
One real estate agent put it to me this way: "If a homeowner leases his house to a drug dealer, knowing the drug dealer is going to use it to sell drugs, then the homeowner can suffer forfeit of that house when the cops come in and raid the drug dealer, because the Homeowner KNEW what the house was going to be used for. Similarly, Latvia and Estonia KNEW what their air space was going to be used for: attacking Russia. Hence, Latvia and Estonia appear to many people to be actual "Parties" to the Conflict.
Latvia and Estonia KNEW what the use of the air space was going to do. It's THEIR air space. Using that air space to attack Russia is therefore the responsibility of the air space OWNER.
