Israeli aggression won't go unanswered, Iran's FM tells Omani counterpart

"The Islamic Republic of Iran will not leave the (Israeli) aggression unanswered," Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told his Omani counterpart in a Sunday phone conversation, according to Iran's Foreign Ministry.

The Iranian readout of the call says Oman's top diplomat has condemned the Israeli airstrikes as "a violation of Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity."

In a separate phone call with his British counterpart, Araghchi said the Iranian government "will not hesitate to exercise its inherent and legal right to defend its territorial integrity and national sovereignty, in accordance with accepted principles of international law and the UN Charter."
