Germany Officially Accuses Russia of Attempted Attack

Germany has officially accused Russia of being responsible for the drone attack targeting Leipzig airport last month and announced a slew of new measures against Moscow.
Germany officially blamed Russian intelligence (GRU) for the Aug 4 drone-explosives attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport. A quadcopter carrying Semtex and PETN with a detonator was found next to Ukrainian cargo planes — detonator failed. DNA and construction linked to prior GRU operations.
Germany says the Russian ambassador has been summoned.
Germany has declared the Russian consulate in Bonn will be closed.
The Russia House in Moscow will be closed. Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has announced that the contract under which the Russian House is operated will be rescinded.
Germany will continue supporting Ukraine.
