China has a new bomber flying in international waters near US waters "lines". It appears they are "showing" the US what they have.
China has been developing and deploying new nuclear bombers, including the H-6N and the upcoming H-20 stealth bomber, as part of its efforts to strengthen its nuclear triad. The H-6N, which can be refueled in flight, has been operational since 2018 and is capable of carrying nuclear-capable air-launched ballistic missiles.
Additionally, the H-20, a stealth strategic bomber, is under development and is expected to enhance China's long-range strike capabilities, potentially reaching U.S. bases in the Indo-Pacific region.
H-6N: The H-6N is China's first nuclear-capable air-to-air refuellable bomber, featuring a modified fuselage to carry an air-launched ballistic missile externally. It has been operational since 2018 and is part of China's nuclear triad.
H-20: The Xi'an H-20 stealth bomber is in development and is designed to provide China with intercontinental airborne nuclear strike capability. It is expected to be capable of launching both nuclear and conventional strikes, with an estimated range of 8,077 miles and a 40-ton payload capacity.
The H-20 is expected to be officially unveiled by 2026.
