C.E.O. of Shell Oil: ". . .we are short on diesel and gasoline. . ."

Today is August 3, 2026 and for a full five months, I have been warning readers of this website and listeners to my talk-radio show, that we were heading into a massive shortage/outage of fuel. Specifically, I warned about Diesel and gasoline.
I attributed this coming disaster to the poorly-thought-out conflict with Iran, which closed the Strait of Hormuz, and thereby shut down about twenty percent (20%) of the world's DAILY oil needs.
Now, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shell Oil Company, Mr. Wael Sawan, (Image above) has publicly declared the world is now running short on both Diesel Fuel and Gasoline.
Appearing on CNBC's "The Street" Mr. Sawan explained why this is now happening, and UNAVOIDABLE.
When the Iran war disrupted Middle Eastern jet fuel exports, aviation fuel prices spiked. Refineries globally, including Shell’s, responded rationally to market signals. They maximized production of the highest-priced product.
Shell increased its jet fuel production by approximately 20% in response to that price signal, according to Sawan‘s remarks.
That 20% jet fuel addition came at a direct cost. Refinery units running at maximum throughput, allocate barrel inputs across competing product streams. More jet fuel output means less diesel and gasoline from the same barrel of crude.
As the jet fuel shortage eased and aviation activity normalized, the diesel and gasoline deficit that accumulated during the pivot is now showing up in product-market signals.
“The price signals are that we are short on diesel and gasoline,” Sawan said. Remember, he is a CEO with real-time visibility into global product markets telling investors and viewers that the next leg of fuel-cost pressure will arrive at the pump, not the aircraft gate.
"The Boy Who Cried Wolf"
Fort the last five months, this website and its radio show have been shouting from the rooftops for readers and listeners to store-up spare fuel, fill home home heating oil tanks and gas/propane tanks, and to stock-up on food.
I issued these warnings because I knew that everything . . . literally E V E R Y T H I N G (except electricity and natural gas) must, at some point, move by truck. Trucks run on Diesel fuel. I knew that when Diesel fuel runs short (or runs out) all those trucks have to stop.
I explained over and over that no fuel means no trucks to pick up food from farms or meat from ranches, and bring it to processing centers. Then, there's no trucks to bring the food from processing centers to distribution centers. Finally, no trucks to bring food from Distribution Centers to Supermarkets. Ergo, empty store shelves.
I said these things and was viciously ridiculed as "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." I was belittled and told "You're not an expert, let the experts deal with this." Others mocked me as "Chicken Little, the sky is falling" and I was bluntly told "If there was actually a real problem, the experts would have told us about it."
I was accused of "sensationalism" and publishing "Click bait." Others said my reports were nothing more than "Doom Porn."
Well, well, well, here we are five months later and . . . . lookie, lookie, here . . . . The Chief Executive Officer of Shell Oil, the fourth largest Oil Company on planet earth, is now confirming what I have been shouting about for months! It turns out that ___ I ___ was right, and all those who mocked, scorned, and belittled me, were wrong. Imagine that!
But wait, It's not just Mr. Sawan. Months ago, on May 28 I also reported that Neil Chapman, Senior Vice-President of Exxon, told the Sanford Bernstein Strategic Decisions Conference:

Now What?
Well, for those who simply refused to believe the information I have given, they STILL have ever-so-little time left to make some preparations.
Buy some red-colored, five-gallon, gasoline storage cans and fill them up. Take a magic marker and write the date and fuel type, i.e. "87 Octane unleaded" and the date (August 3, 2026) on each can. Store them safely and lawfully in accordance with local fire codes!!!
If your vehicle uses Diesel Fuel, by some yellow-colored, 5-gallon, DIESEL FUEL cans and fill them.
If your home relies upon Home Heating Oil for its furnace, call your local oil supplier and DEMAND you get your tank filled immediately. THIS WEEK.
If your home relies upon natural gas or propane for its furnace, call your local gas supplier and DEMAND to be topped-off, right now.
Don't wait. If you wait, the masses who are asses will all start catching-on real fast and THEY will all be calling for the same thing. If you wait, you could find yourself shit-outta-luck.
Similarly with food, STOCK-UP NOW. You want shelf-stable foods that don't require refrigeration: Boxes of Pasta, Bags of Rice, canned meats like beef, and chicken. Canned breakfast meat like Corned Beef Hash. Canned fish like Tuna. Jarred sauces for the pasta.
You should make certain you have significant amounts of FLOUR and yeast to make bread. Don't know how? Go to Youtube and ask "Video on how to make bread." Learn. Now.
Get an extra supply of Medicines you need to live on. Because many pharmaceuticals rely on fillers and binders MADE FROM OIL. You should have an extra 90 days to six months worth of those medicines. Of course, your Insurance company won't pay for that, so you may have to pay out-of-pocket but it's better to have those medicines NOW, than to find out three months from now that you can't get any at any price.
Have an electric generator to keep your refrigerator running, and maybe a lamp or two in the house if power goes out. Yesterday, the entire country of Cuba lost electric power - again - and it can happen here, too. TRY to be prepared.
Have extra fuel for that generator. NEVER run a gasoline-powered generator indoors; they give-off deadly carbon monoxide gas which will put you to sleep and then kill you in your sleep. So be smart: NEVER run a gasoline or propane powered generator indoors. Only operate them outside.
Have flashlights for each member of your family or in each room of your house. Have spare batteries for those flashlights.
Have a portable AM/FM/SW radio for news and info. Have spare batteries for that radio.
WINTER IS COMING
If the nation runs short -- or OUT - on fuels, how will you keep warm when Winter arrives? Do you have warm winter clothing and footwear? You can't go out in the cold rain, sleet, hail or snow in sneakers. Get LEATHER Work Boots or Hiking boots.
Do you have several pairs of "long John" underwear? Flannel Shirts? Pajamas? Robe and slippers?
Do you have heavy wool or heavy Cotton (NOT POLYESTER) blankets for your beds?
Do you have any portable Kerosene or gas heaters you can use to survive? If not, get some and fuel for it.
Do you have a fireplace or wood-burning stove? Do you have several CORDS of wood to supply it? Get some. Now!
None of us can possibly hope to be totally prepared for what is coming; but we can do the most basic preparations to give us a CHANCE at surviving.
I do NOT sell any of the things I mention above. NONE! I have ZERO financial interest in whether or not you prepare.
I've been trying to get you to pay attention because it matters to me that the rest of the media has utterly failed to inform you. Time grows terribly short, now.
I can lead you to prepare but I can't MAKE YOU do it. Whether you wise-up and prepare or not, is up to you. So are the consequences.
