The US just sent a warning to its embassy employees and all Americans in Bahrain to “shelter in place” ahead of the 8pm Iranian deadline that Trump has said will happen.

Here’s the news:

Bahrain: We are monitoring the situation in the Middle East closely and will keep you updated so you can make decisions about your safety. The U.S. Embassy in Manama has directed all U.S. government employees to shelter in place. We recommend all Americans in Bahrain do the same until further notice. To the extent possible, remain in a secure structure, and stay away from windows. Have a supply of food, water, medications, and other essential items. Please continue to check your email for additional information or last-minute changes. The U.S. Embassy Manama has suspended all routine consular services. Americans should contact ManamaConsular@state.gov in case of emergency.
