Moscow is making it clear—no NATO for Ukraine.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said that Russia will push for guarantees that Ukraine remains neutral and permanently excluded from the alliance as part of any peace agreement.
Grushko: "We will demand that ironclad security guarantees become part of this agreement. Part of these guarantees should be the neutral status of Ukraine, the refusal of NATO countries to accept it into the alliance."
