So... does this mean... it was never detected? Allowed to be built? What about all the seismic sensors they have at the Israeli boarder wall?

Research on the Israeli wall states:

The Israeli border wall along the Gaza Strip, also known as the “Iron Wall,” features a sophisticated array of technologies, including seismic sensors. These sensors are designed to detect underground movement and vibrations, allowing Israeli authorities to identify potential tunneling activities by Hamas or other organizations.

According to reports, the sensors are integrated into the wall’s design, which includes:

  • Heavy concrete slabs reinforced with metal rods that extend deep underwater

  • A second layer of armored stone

  • A third layer in the form of a mound

  • A 20-foot wire fence above ground with additional sensors and cameras

The seismic sensors are capable of detecting subtle changes in the earth’s vibrations, allowing Israeli authorities to pinpoint the location and depth of potential tunneling activities. This technology is part of a broader electronic intelligence network that monitors all phone calls, text messages, and emails in the Gaza Strip. It’s worth noting that the Israeli border wall has undergone significant upgrades and expansions over the years, with the most recent completion announced in December 2021. The wall’s design and technologies, including seismic sensors, are intended to prevent illegal immigration, smuggling, and terrorist activities from Gaza.
